JANUARY 13th 2006 : "Tristan & Isolde" opens in the US. Filmed in Ireland in 2003 and directed by Kevin Reynolds, "Tristan & Isolde" explores the medieval legend of a princess and warrior's love affair, which threatens to tear apart an uneasy peace between England and Ireland. A tale of epic battles, royal intrigue and a timeless, star-crossed passion. The film will open in Ireland and across Europe on March 24th 2006..

DECEMBER 28TH 2005 : "Whatever Love Means" airs on ITV at 9:00pm. Directed by David Blair, filming took place in Dublin and Wicklow during 2005. "Whatever Love Means" is a co-production between Granada and World 2000.

APRIL 10th & 11TH 2005 : "Malice Aforethought" was aired over 2 nights on ITV on Sunday April 10th & Monday April 11th. The 2 part TV drama was filmed in Dublin last year and was directed by David Blair, stars Ben Miller

DECEMBER 17TH 2004: "Ella Enchanted" which premiered in the US on 9th April is released in Ireland on 17th December 2004. View the trailer here. "Ella Enchanted" is directed by Tommy O'Haver and stars Ann Hathaway, Hugh Dancy and Joanna Lumley.The film was shot on location in Dublin and Ardmore Studios and was co-produced with Miramax Films

NOVEMBER 29th 2004 : "King Arthur" was released on DVD across the world. The DVD contains the director's cut with unseen material, an alternative ending and a behind the scenes look at the making of the movie.

OCTOBER 30th 2004 : Dee Corcoran & Ailbhe Lemass won an IFTA Award for Best Hair & Make-Up for "King Arthur" at this years awards held in Dublin.

OCTOBER 15th 2004: Inside I'm Dancing, winner of the Audience Award at the Edinburgh Film Festival & Best Screenplay Award at the Irish Film & Television Awards opened across Ireland & the UK on October 15th. Directed by Irish director Damien O'Donnell ("East is East", "Heartlands") the film opened the Cork Film Fetival on October 10th & has been selected for Sundance 2005.Click here to view the trailer.

NOVEMBER 2nd 2004: We are currently co-producing a two part drama series, "Malice Aforethought" for the ITV Network. Filming completed in Dublin on November 2nd 2004.The series is directed by David Blair and stars Ben Miller.

JULY 2004: . The Blackwater Lightship" picked up two awards at this years 44 Monte Carlo Television Festival held in Monaco on July 3rd 2004. John Erman was awarded with Best Director and the film received the SIGNIS award which was granted to the film that promotes better understanind between peoples. John Erman, Dianne Wiest and Morgan O'Sullivan attended the event.

JULY 2004 : "King Arthur" was released in the US on July 7th 2004 and across Europe on July 30th 2004. View the trailer here. Filmed in Ireland last year, "King Arthur" is directed by Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day") and stars Clive Owen, Keira Knighley and Ioan Gruffad. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, "King Arthur", despite a low US box office intake, has now taken in over €200 million in the International box office.

JANUARY 25th 2004: World 2000 were involved in 2 films that received 3 Golden Globe nominations. Tennessee William's "The Roman Spring of Mrs Stone" was nominated for Best Mini Series or TV movie and Helen Mirren for Best Actress in a Mini Series or TV movie. "The Roman Spring of Mrs Stone" was shot in Ireland and Rome for Showtime and was directed by Robert Allan Ackerman. Cate Blanchett was nominated as Best Actress in a leading role - Drama for her role in "Veronica Guerin" which was shot in Dublin and directed by Joel Schumacher.The Golden Globes were held in Los Angeles on 25th January 2004.

NOVEMBER 1st 2003 : "Veronica Guerin" won the Best Film Award voted by the public at this years Irish Film & Television Awards held in Dublin on 1st November 2003. The film received 7 nominations in total:-

Best Film, Best Supporting Actress (Brenda Fricker), Best Supporting Actor (Ciarán Hinds and Gerard Mc Sorley), Best Costume (Joan Bergin), Best Cinematography (Brenda Galvin) and Best Hair/Make-up (Dee Corcoran & Ailbhe Lemass). Bernie Guerin, Veronica's Mother, accepted the award on behalf of the Producers.

SEPTEMBER 21st 2003 : "The Roman Spring of Mrs Stone" which was filmed in Ireland and Rome last year and produced by Morgan O'Sullivan and James Flynn received 5 Emmy nominations at this years Awards held LA on 21st September. The film was ominated in the following categories:-

SEPTEMBER 2002: "The Count of Monte Cristo" was released on Video/DVD in the US and across Europe.

SEPTEMBER 29th 2002: "Prince William" was aired on ABC in the States.
